Penetrant; SKL-SP2 Aerosol:

• Red visible non-destructive test method which provides for the detection of surface discontinuities (flaws) in ferrous and non-ferrous test materials
• Ideal for applications where portability is required
• Vivid red colour permits daylight inspection
• Exhibits outstanding penetrating characteristics, which provide for maximum reliability in locating surface-open flaws and discontinuities
• Can be used over the entire spectrum of industrial applications, where a visible penetrant inspection system meets the requirements for surface-open flaw detection
• Has also been successfully used on non-porous ceramics and similar materials
• Not recommended for the inspection of plastic materials, as it may stain, soften or even dissolve the base material under test
• Should be used at temperatures between 40°F-125°F
• Meets applicable requirements for AMS 2644, ASTM E1417, ASTM E165, ASME, ISO 3425

Developer; SKD-S2 Aerosol:

• Improves indication detection by creating an optimal surface for penetrant indication formation
• Bright white, opaque coverage blocks all underlying surface color and quickly draws penetrant to the surface for stronger, clearer indication
• Reduces inspection time by minimizing post-inspection cleaning
• Easy-to-apply formula goes on cleanly, dries quickly and promotes fast indication formation to shave time off each step of the inspection process
• Can be used with a variety of Type 2 and Type 1 penetrants in many different situations without measuring or diluting
• Meets applicable requirements for AMS 2644, ASTM E1417, ASTM E165, ASME, ISO 3452
